After 6 days in a wood stove heated tent how do I get all the smoke smell out of everything? Sleeping bag, backpack, shoes etc. First Elk hunt went with a guided hunt had a good time just didn't see many elk but had a great time

Typically I've found that the smoke smell will come out just by airing things out. Unzip your sleeping bag and drape it outside for a day. Same goes with the pack and shoes. If that doesn't work, you can always dry clean the sleeping bag and wash your pack in the wash machine. Same goes with shoes depending on what you are talking about. If it's hunting boots, I wouldn't worry about it...the smell will disappear quickly if you wear them out hunting a lot.

Agree Cohunter, just airing things out will help tremendously with the smell
