But..............

My wife is 5 days late

I can\'t talk to close friends or family because they will blab.....

4 negative tests do far, but she keeps saying \"I feel pregnant and I know it\'s s boy\"

So I figured I\'d ask my BTO family........

HELP

Awesome, a potential congrats Dan! Enjoy your days hunting this year!

You know what causes that, right?

Seriously though, those tests are typically not wrong very often, so four negatives probably means you don\'t have much to worry about.

Hahaha I\'m very torn on this, Derek.
We were trying and this is the month we wanted it to happen.
That way the baby is born in between two seasons, so I don\'t miss out on any.....or too much hunting :shifty:

How long was it before your wife found out officially?

The mind is a crazy thing. It can cause your cycle to go off. I once thought I was pregnant and I was not. Not trying to dampen your spirits, however, keep it cool. Keep stress down. Do some activities to distract both of you.

Sometimes it is better not to tell family and close friends until after the first trimester. It is a personal decision.

By memory, the tests are not accurate until 10 days after the...you what I mean. The box should say.

Thank you mtnmutt!

My spirits aren\'t high, it\'s hers....
I\'m with you thinking it\'s more of a mind thing or the fact that she is still recently off BC.

She stopped taking it after we got married, which was only 4 months ago.

I\'m thinking it\'s partly that.

Thank you for the post!!!!!

The most important thing...is to acknowledge that she is right...

Seriously...wishing you the best of luck...fingers crossed :angle:

Thanks, Jeff!!!! :upthumb:

I am just going along with it all because I don\'t want to stress her out.

You keep poking fun at her and she gonna take it serious!
He he he!

Sooner or later you will slip one by the goalie :) wink wink!

Keep us informed!

You guys and gals will all know when I do...

Thank you all again for the help.
Its tough not having anyone to talk to about it. :silent:

This is no time to panic, but you know these pregnancies have messed up a lot of good hunts and the plans that went into them. Best wishes either way.

I sure hope not! When Alyssa and I sat down and we decided to start trying, we said it would be VERY ideal to have a baby somewhere in March, April, or May for two reasons.

One is it would be in between this season and the next. That way I get this season, we have our child and then I can hunt next year. The baby would be anywhere from 5-7 months old so it\'s not like I am leaving her at home with a month year old baby. I do know I wouldn\'t be able to go NUTS next year, but I still could hunt.

Another perc is my wife is a teacher. She has about 5-6 weeks of time off banked up. So if we have a baby in March, April, or May, she can take a lot of time off and roll right into the summer where she will already be off :D

Here is the thing though, we could try to plan it all we want, but we prayed and asked God to give us a baby when he deemed it necessary.

So now we wait :dance2: :dance2:

To me that sounds like a well planned pregnancy. Planned parenthood at its best. :D

Hope all works out and congrats if it does.

#1 thing we told each other when we had our kids is it doesn\'t matter what they end up being (boy or girl) as long as they are healthy.

I will say having kids will change your life but its something I would NEVER change.

Also I did hear your having a \"contest\" here and we get to choose the name. Something about Random.org and the winner chooses?? :D

If you are blessed with news of success, we need a baby poll for date/time of birth. The winner gets half of iccy\' 2015 elk backstrap.

You guys and gals all rock! :upthumb:

I\'d donate backstraps for something like that :upthumb:

When we had our first girl my wife was a teacher and it worked out perfectly. School ended 1 week before she gave birth. Also I hear that girls run in the AF maintenance career fields :upthumb:

Very true! As you said Dan, God has his plan. My brother-in-law is witnessing it first hand this year as my sister is due with their first child in October. They had tried a long time, so they are very excited about it! But he won\'t be in camp this year. Some things are more important :upthumb:

dan, we tried for six months for our first.... every month that went by, the wife got a little crazier.... she was in school and we had the master plan... pop the thing out in the summer, between school. that didn\'t happen.... I checked with the wife and she said that tests will be valid at anything over a week. unless you get the extra early ones...
