I\'ve been watching this game trail all summer and it\'s had heavy usage! Someone walk right past my salt station and threw theirs 80 yards down the trail in the direction the elk come. Why? I don\'t own the forest but couldn\'t they find another spot? Guess that\'s why I have a 2nd.....and a 3rd.....and a 4th station. Not worth the hassle.

A while ago, a law was passed against hunting bear and cougar with bait or dogs. Certain groups did a great job convincing the majority that it was cruel. That\'s why it\'s very hard for me to display the animals I kill. Those border liners are easily persuaded.

I know what you mean John about not owning the forest, but come these type hunters have no respect for others.
Case and point, my youngest boy set up a tree stand week before last where he has set it up in the past. We went in last Sat. to check his trail cam, and someone else had set his or her stand two trees over from his. What type of hunter would do that ? So he just decided to move his stand and trail cam. Maybe that is what the person was hoping he would do I don\'t know. But me I would of kept my stand there, and made sure he our I would not of killed an elk from that spot even if I had to stay there all season. :mg:
