Shooting a Hoyt Charger at 60lbs and 28" arrow with 100 grain broadhead.  Is a Hunter Xt with 300 spine too stiff?  Is there anything else negative about a going to a stiffer spine than just losing speed?  Total arrow weight would be 398gr with 11% foc.

sounds like you're gonna be to stiff with that set up.  a 125 grain head would help some with FOC and overspine if you're not looking to buy arrows any time soon.  don't think speed will be your issue, you'll probably find your broadheads fly left of your field points.  so just make sure you're dialed in with broadheads before you head out for a hunt and you should be fine.

Juice,

You should consider shooting through paper and see how they fly. My guess is you are over-spined and should be shooting a 340 spine.

If you get right tears you just cant tune out, you are over-spined.  Just google paper tuning your bow and you should find what you need.
