I will be hunting from a stand this fall, at least for a portion of my hunt. My opening morning hunt is typically done from a treestand in an area where the elk feed in the hay meadows at night then make their way back to a bedding area. I typically setup along that travel corridor. And even though it\'s not quite as exciting as calling or spot and stalk, it\'s probably my highest percentage hunt (I try to fill my \"B\" list anterless tag) and I have to admit the whole treestand thing has grown on me over the years. I definitely picked up a couple pointers from Swede\'s book and it was a fun read.
