Strawberry Reservoir

Has anyone hunted by strawberry reservoir and knows any good places around that area to hunt? We see lots of elk signs but never seem to find the elk

You looking to draw the LE bull tag or just hunt OTC archery for cows and spikes?  I have heard several guys that have been successful hunting around the reservoir and have seen some video of some tremendous bulls there.  I haven't spent time over there so I don't know specific areas to check.

Over the years we have shot a couple elk between trail hallow and Indian creek. Another area to look at would be Currant Creek. Scouting really helps out up by Strawberry

If your after spikes just find a spot that doesnt have easy access and you should find the elk

I have to agree. Find a place that you have to hike a few miles in and that is where the elk will be hiding.

I will be hunting OTC tag I have been putting in for LE but don't have enough points yet i will have to scout out Indian creek and trail halllow
