I want to practice my backtension with the new Tru Ball Sweet Spot release I purchased. I choose the Sweet Spot, as I wanted to have the safety feature, so that I don\'t smack myself in the face when drawing the bow back. I\'ve heard of back tension releases without the safety and newbies rotating the release too much when drawing the bow and releasing the sear and punching themselves in the face.
So, I made a simple loop for my left hand and one for the release to attach to, in order to simulate full draw and practicing back tension. Well, the string on my bow hand kept digging into my flesh and the tension wasn\'t consistent. So, I looked around the garage and found my hand miter saw, and decided to use the handle. I took out the screws, removed the blade, drilled a hole in the top of the handle and ran the paracord through the handle. Now I have a consistent handle and can practice better at my desk. True redneckery at its finest.
