When I lived in the mountains and they had no CO stores, yes. I ordered lots of stuff in my early days starting out hunting.

Now that they have Denver stores, I only order online for large items for free shipment to a Denver store.

Once in a while. There is a store about 45 min north of our place that we visit.

On another note::Sadly, the quality of the goods at Cabela\'s is not what it once was. I remember visiting their store in Nebraska on our way to a Mulie hunt in Utah back in the early 80\'s. It was when they only had the 1 store. Every thing I looked at was first quality and for years I never hesitated to order something. Now they have gone the way of Eddie Bauer and LL Bean, seems like 3/4 of the store is clothing and household goods.

I occasionally order items to be delivered in store for the free shipping aspect, like mtnmutt. Otherwise, I end up buying most items at the store now that it\'s nearby.

Closest store is 2.5 hours away so ...Yes.

I usually only buy what is on sale though........
I am a Bargin Cave buyer....

Nope! Well, sometimes but not often. Been bit too many times. But I do shop in the store when I\'m down around Grand Junction. I like to see what I\'m buying. Some of the products are cheap China junk. The last couple of times I ordered the product was miss-represented online.

But When I travel through Kansas City, I always try to stop by their store there. The deer display is a sight to behold. And the pork tenderloin sandwich is fantastic!!

Yes occasionally. It\'s cheaper to order and pay shipping than drive to a store for me.

They do have good sales on name brand stuff once in awhile and I do buy.

That said I have a coupon here for 20 off any 150 dollar order that I wont be using if someone needs it let me know and its yours.

i order some, not alot though, and almost exclusively off the bargain cave online. cabelas, like bass pro, has become to high. i can find almost everything cheaper elsewhere.

I buy on line and at the store. I have one 25 minutes away. Only on sale or bargain cave. If I buy online I have it shipped to the store and don\'t pay shipping that way.

I order online and typically pick up at one of the stores near Denver. Sometimes items that are online are not in either store.

I do because I thats the only place I can get my hands on stuff that is commonplace out west but isn\'t found in our local small shops, like flyfishing gear, technical clothing, etc.

cant remember ever ordering from them. maybe.

i have been in a store ONCE. on my way to Idaho. elk hunting. i had that chilled to the bone feeling of \"hey, did i remember to pack away my broadheads?\" o-oh.. SCREECH! i stopped the store in Reno, and bought some slick tricks.

turned out i did pack my broadheads. the store was messy and picked clean.

Does seem like the quality has gone down over the years. Never had one close enough until they opened in Lone Tree, CO. I refuse to mail order boots and most shirts/pants since I\'m tall and have knuckle draggers for arms with a long inseam.

Having the store not too far away lets me try things on before I buy or before I look in the bargain cave to buy.

Not to hi-jack the thread but the new Bass Pro Shop is within walking distance of the office so they\'re getting a little more of my business these days.
