who all here has a tattoo. they weren\'t very popular in mo, at least with the folks I hung out with, an I never had a desire til today. so I got one. just wondering who else has one

Never had one and probably never will, but I did consider getting a bull\'s head with the boys names surrounding it - something outdoorsy like that - if I ever do.

Well, let\'s see it.

Me? Nope ... I have commitment issues, making tattoos a \"big step\" for me.

My wife got one for her 50th, though. Barefoot horse tracks.

Two for me.
One is a cross with my kids\' initials
and the other is....
Bull elk and mtns :)

deertick, I hear ya, I got problem with anything permament. but, I purposely got this one on my back so I cant see it. someday I might get an elk head like cnelk, theres a bible vs bout arrows flying straight that would look good with that. I might be going thru a mid life crisis :wtf:

Mid-Life crisis\'s are expensive...
You\'l know when it happens.
I have a Harley Davidson because of it... :)

40th birthday, 10 years ago, I got a tattoo around my left ankle. It is mountains going around the ankle with different icons below it to indicate different things during my 40 years on this planet. I thought about it for months before I went to the shop and had the artist help design it.

That year, I also did my first CO Ride the Rockies (400+mile bike tour in CO mountains). The following year, I did my first sprint triathlon.

At age 46, I took up hunting.

Nah, no mid-life crisis here...just finding new ways to destroy my body and drain the bank account.

I only have 1. It dates way back to the 4th grade in school. This girl, Suzy somebody sat right in front of me in class. She had long flowing, beautiful red hair that I just loved to try to tie to the back of her chair. She eventually tired of my shenanigans & casually reached back & stabbed me just above the knee with a ball point pen. It really doesn\'t resemble anything, but it does remind me frequently of my childhood education. Taught me a great lesson at only 10 years of age. Girls can make ya cry without breaking a sweat!

Thanks Dave, that\'s the funniest post I\'ve read ever!

I have 6. One is my i\'m 18 I\'m going to get a tattoo, Two were my devorce presents to myself, Then I have a dream catcher and my last two are my family crest and a memorial tat for two very good friends.

The Lord has made it clear to me He does not want me to have any tattoos. Lev. 19:28 NASB. Still, He has permitted me to acquire plenty of scars for my efforts in life. None of the scars were to commemorate the dead. :)

I don\'t know how to post a photo, if brad will post it for me I can text him a pic.
swede I agree with ya, never had the urge personally, but ive had a very bad couple weeks an I needed a reminder of Jesus, so I have a cross with 1st corithians 13 (love chapter) to remind me not to be bitter or hateful.

Bnsafe: Really it is okay with me about your tattoo. I wasn\'t really trying to be judgmental. I am just concerned that you will be entering heaven someday, permanently marred. :)

I know you wasn\'t judging me swede, never took it that way. If this scar is all I have to worry about when I stand in front of Jesus I will be ok.

I know if the Lord looked for the best physical specimens, I would have no chance. Thankfully we are saved by His grace through faith. Eph. 2:8-9

i have two. neither of which are very...ahem. \"manly\".

i might just tattoo the grim reaper over them..hahaha..

just kidding. i recently wanted a sleeve done. only thing stopping me is finding a GREAT artist, and deciding what i want. i wont be hunting themed..kinda want an Asian waterpainting landscape thing..

what is the going rate for a tattoo these days..by the hour?

mine was around 75 an took about 45 minutes, but I have nothing to compare that to an mine has no color an pretty basic. still trying to figure out how to get a pic posted
