Nice bull! I have this year's bull over ar Desert Edge. I've never used him before,  but all of his work I've seen looks good. Can't wait to get mine back!

What is the going rate for an elk shoulder mount?  I havent got one worthy of a mount yet, but hopefully that day is coming.

I believe they charge about $900 for a shoulder mount.

Will depend on where you're from but in general 1000 - 1400 for a wall mount and of course more for pedestal, around 1800 - 2200. You can find them cheaper but do your homework and check out the taxidermist's work.

I live in PA and hunt in MT.  Just trying to decide if I should have someone out there do the work, or try to get everything to my taxidermist back home.

here in Scramento they go $800 and up for shoulder mounts I had a friend do mine but haven't heard from him in 2yrs his phone has been disconnected he lives about 8hrs away or use to I have to go look for him. would like to get my horns back at least it was my first 6 point bull in just my 2nd year of hunting Elk.
