Fellas, does anyone use a Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2? If so, what are your general thoughts. I returned my Hubba Hubba NX after my archery elk hunt last year, only because I felt it was on the heavy side, especially for using it on a backcountry hunt. The Big Agnes seems intriguing and was hoping to get some real life feedback.

I have the Fly Creek UL3 and have enjoyed it so far this year. It's huge for one guy but with 2 it's roomy. It has handled the wind and adverse conditions well. I haven't put a ton of miles on mine just yet but so far it's holding up nicely and is pretty lightweight. I love the length and head space on mine and it has the built in pockets on the inside of the tent that are a nice convenience. Ventilation is average. I haven't had any condensation build up on the inside of mine except for one time that I set it up on really wet ground. All around I've liked mine the 3P is just a bit big for me by myself. I got it to hunt with a partner and for that it's done well.

My one gripe about the Fly Creek is the vestibule. It's a decent size but I hate how low of an angle the door contacts the ground at. When you're sitting in the tent and want to reach out to close the door all the way it's difficult to reach. This is a small issue but issue none the less. With the Fly Creek 2 this may not be as much of an issue with the overall smaller size.

I think the UL2 would be a great solo tent. Bit tight for 2 guys but I've seen other 2P tents that are smaller.

I too have the UL3 and love it.  One of the lightest full tents made.  It sleeps 2 guys with plenty of room and the vestibule will cover you boots and packs if needed.  The one thing to be careful of is to not get it near sharp sticks or on sharp rocks.  The material is super thin and will tear but does the job.  Get the footprint or make your own.
