I’m new here so don’t beat me up to bad if this has been discussed before.

I’m looking for a good medium sized pack that I could haul a day’s supply and meat out in the first trip.

My preference would probably be a Kifaru T3 or KU3700. Quality packs built for you, with a great suspension, lifetime warranty and made in the USA.

Also check out mystery ranch.  they have several packs in that size range and with the nice frame there are many different bags that you can interchange.  I love the crewcab because it can be used as a day pack, small pack, medium pack, expedition pack, or anything in between.  It's like four packs in one.  And it can expand out to carry any size or shape load no matter the weight.  Bombproof packs.  well worth the money as it's more like an investment than a purchase.  you will have it forever

For the price range/class, I really like the TZ2220. With the internal fluted aluminum frame stay, it handles heavier loads great, and it's still very light. You can definitely spend more money and get a heavier duty pack, but for the price (under $200), I haven't found anything close that comfortably allows you to dayhunt and pack a load of meat.
