i have often wondered why folks dont buy the fabric garages for a base camp. they were cheaper than my tent on the home depot website. not sure rather they would leak or not but seems to be a cheaper way of having a nice big base camp tent for less cost. i have a tent so wont be trying it, but sure wonder.

im not sure about wt, but they couldnt be any more than a canvas wall tent. so other than possibly leaking im not seeing a downside for half the cost of less. you can buy one at sams club for around 300. even if it leaked it would make a good cooking tent.

Google \'Shed in a box\'
My buddies used one these one year. It worked good for them.

like this everything stays dry and no mice in your sleeping area

I have had this tent for over 20 years.
Its not light, has a sewn in floor, warm and easy to set up.
Perfect for a long weekend hunt

I did it once. NM deer hunt. We had a cheap tent to sleep in. We set up an EZup with the wall option. We got a foot of snow. It was honestly more comfy and dry under the shelter.
