Been seeing some nice bucks up in the high country timber so Ive decided to go hunt them this year


Should be a fun hunt

In CO what is a "bread and butter" or top notch season for you guys?
Is this early rifle the go to hunt?

Most hunts that require a good number of preference points are late season hunts during the rut, but there are a handful of these early season tags that are somewhat popular as well.

Dan,  it totally depends on what type of hunt you're looking for.  High country velvet deer=archery or early season rifle.  Closer to the rut (we have no real rut dates but decent prerut) 4th season rifle.  I've done well bowhunting both these seasons
