nice shot placement!

1. please dont leave any California here when you go back.
2. feel free to take a little Texas back with you. those Kalifornia folks need plenty, and we got plenty.

:)

Good deal!

What did the BH look like after the shot? Is this a mech.? Looked like a pretty significant deflection based on entry/exit.

I hear that in southern Colorado there is getting to be quite the population of wild pigs. I wonder if CPR will ever have a season for them since they are considered invasive species.

Here in Arkansas there is no season on the hogs we have... They are considered feral hogs and not game animals and are a invasive species here also... We can kill them all year round both in day and night with little exceptions here and there... Unless the CPW gets a handle on them they will reproduce faster than normal hunting can control... The main reason we kill them here is to relocate them so someone else can deal with them.. Normally in the open wild if you kill a few out of a group they will move to a different area.. They are destroying a lot of native wildlife habit here... Just hope and pray they don\'t get a go foothold in Colorado..

If the CPW can figure out a way to generate revenue from hog hunting [license/seasons] Im sure they will.

But lets hope not

Pretty sure you can just go hunt them, but I have not heard the same thing about populations. AFAIK there are very few outside of a couple high fenced ranches. Some escaped about 10 years ago, but the reports since then have mostly been rehashes of the same email. CPW took a heli-sniper and knocked out most of them.
I just remember reading a report that farmers around the Rocky Ford area were concerned that they weren\'t allowing hunting of them, that they were tearing up crops and that they didn\'t know what to do. I figured the CPW had their eyes on a way to make some money on it. Surprised every year that there isn\'t a season of sorts.
