I would have to think very hard about that tall tine 9 in the 1st video... He\'s a good young deer... Might be a great deer in a year or so if he lives... A lot would depend on where you are hunting (public or private) and the hunting pressure but I\'d still have to think hard before shooting him...
After watching the 2nd video the young 10 would get some thought...
Both the tall 9 and 10 point are young deer... BUT where I hunt on private leased land is surrounded by other private leased land to other hunting camps... And most all of them go by the rule \"if it\'s brown it\'s down\"... If I had the luxury of not having that problem I would enjoy watching them grow...
But I don\'t and I don\'t imagine you do either... :downthumb: :downthumb:
Here are some pictures of a young buck I plan on shooting if given the chance this season... I should past and let him grow to see what he looks like next year but the way his antlers have grown they may never be equal... Plus if anyone else see\'s him, they WILL shoot him...
I have a bunch more night pictures of him in 2 of the 3 lanes I have to watch from my stand... No day pictures of him though... Maybe during the rut he\'ll screw up...
There is some bigger bucks around my powerline stand but since the time a year or so ago when I come close to make it to the ground too fast, I\'ve decided to stay low and and hunt mo....
Maybe one will wander over my way since it\'s not but about a 1/4 through the thicket to get to me...
Yep Brad... My son missed that with the bush hog and has said he\'s going to clean it up a bit... That poor camera take all kind of day pic due to the wind and those bushes...
