trout fishing

im going to a state park here in mo that has trout. they release a certain number every nite depending on how many daily tags they sale the day before. i grew up doing it an its a blast. sure not the same as out west, but closest i can get right now. im lookin forward to it

You can come over this way and float the Eleven Point. Lots of trout and pretty big ones as well. Not the released type. I\'m not a fisherman at all but I did a float trip this summer. Firt time I ever did one. The canoe rental place is owned by a guide and he explained all of the trout fishing on that river to me. I only caught one but I had no clue what I was doing. I also caught a big smallmouth as well. It\'s a beautiful river. I used to have a nice lease just west of there. Maybe we can do a float trip next summer. I\'m wanting a couple of my cousins to do one and try out some gear for next year\'s elk hunt... like the little stove that cnelk made. I want to learn how to dehydrate some meals and just tweak my spike camp set up. I think a float trip might help me. I don\'t think it would be too terribly far from Nixa maybe 3 hours at the most.

Is this Roaring Fork river? When we visited some of the wife\'s relatives, her Uncle took us there and had a really good time just watch for the water moccasins, they are aggressive. Had on come out of the water after me, after I swung at it with my fishing rod.

no ronco, it was bennett spring. i have only been to roaring river once but that was enuf due to the snakes.
i took my son, daughter, an her bf for there first trout fish. in less than an hour they had caught 13 an the lightning drove us out. but they all caught there first trout so it was fun
