What kind of turkey tube does everyone use on their shotgun?
Most of my season will be hunted with a bow, but I want to set my super nova up with a proper turkey choke....just in case. :mg: :mg: ;)

Can I get by with a jellyhead?

Jellyheads have a good reputation. I got a Pure Gold and love the groups I get with it.

The jellyheads like previously mentioned are good but I would look at Sumtoy chokes. They are made in GA. The chokes put out great patterns but like everything else some guns like certain choke/ turkey load combinations. I have always had good luck with Hevi-shot and the Sumtoy chokes.

i think mine is a Hunter\'s specialty.

you know what? i\'ve never patterned it before. all my shotgun kills have been at 20 yards. ANY shotgun ANY choke could get that done. i just need the right shot. :)

True!!! I expect to have up close shots. So close I could probably just club them with my gun.

just full chokes here..... that lil tristar dropped that turkey in Kansas at close to 50 yards with the factory full choke. my old rem 1100 with a fixed modified choke has dropped turks out to 45 yards!

I\'m like Gary I don\'t use a turkey chokes, just go a bit tighter constriction that what I use to duck hunt with... I use Trulock Precision Hunter series ported chokes for both ducks and turkey... Skeet 1 or IC for ducks and Imp Mod for turkey (it can be used for ducks that don\'t want to cooperate also).. :D :D

I don\'t pay those high prices for special chokes but that\'s just me...

I use the two handed choke. But watch them spurs! Some birds put up a fight! :haha:

And to think I always thought that Terry was a \"bowhunter\" all the way.... :dk: :dk:

It now appears he has become so good with his bow he has graduated to \"hand to wing and feet combat\"...

It may be a different story when it come to elk since they offer a bigger challenge....:haha: :haha:

Kicks Industries Gobbblin Thunder made in Georgia. I have used them in a few different shotguns. I just call them up and tell them what gun I want it for and what shell I\'ll be using. They have won the NWTF shoot several times and they also make Comp-n-Choke. It\'s a different company but the same family. My SBE 2 will hold a good pattern out to 60 but I wouldn\'t shoot one that far.
