Ok delicate subject but felt worth passing along..... Underwear and backcountry hunting conjure up not ideal images but a co worker who does triathlons suggested I get exofficio give and go a try. Apparently are odor resistant and wash and dry rapidly. Figured I would pass along I am ordering some to give a personal try    My apologies for any mental images    Lol    Hunt well

....And a little anti-perspirant down under helps to control things when your in the field.

Ok here's another one!
What do ya do when nature calls and you're in your hunting area?
hiking kinda gets the bowels moving ya know what I mean... ???

i always have tp and wipes with me dig a small hole and pop a squat you can dig said hole with the heel of your boot in most western states

Baby wipes are the only way to go, and if your packing in and worried about the weight let them dry out and when you get to camp pour some water on them and voila your ready to go.

I have heard some great things about Exficcio boxers. Sitka core crew boxers are what I use. Worth their weight in gold.

Coleman's Bio wipes...no fragrance, decompose in nature and can be used for cleaning sweaty areas as well as using for cleaning/wiping after nature calls.  When backpacking, can be used to wash hands and face, cleaning cooking utensils and hands after cleaning game. Just an all around multi purpose use that's bio-

Can be purchased at Walmarts....

Update on exofficio. I used them hiking in the smokies and worked great  Worth their money for those who don't already have something similar. And wipes will most certainly be in my pack.

I splurged on a few pairs of exofficio last year and would say that they are worth it.  The only thing that impressed me more was my smartwool base layer.  That is the best thing I bought last season.

Just bought some merino wool base layer from Sierra anxious to try them this deer season

My old hunting partner happened to take a dump 40 yards from where I set up much to my displeasure. An hour or so later a mule deer came on by, sniffed it, and leisurely kept on his way. I was quite surprised by his non-reaction.

I think staying away from cotton and keeping yourself clean is definitely important.  I buy the unscented flush-able wipes, squeeze some moisture out of them, repack them in a ziplock bag, then re-saturate them with some Primos Earth scent eliminator spray.  Not sure if my nether regions smelling like trees helps...but what the hell.
Also, rather than digging a hole for #2, I just find a large rock or tree I can roll out of the way and then roll back over it.

Duluth Trading Co boxers, roughly $18 pair and dry quickly and very comfortable.  Used them last year elk hunting in Colorado and they were awesome.

These are pretty much the only underwear I own.
