This is not elk related, but I would like to take some time and send out a friendly reminder.

This is such a great website and I have never seen a place where everyone gets along so well and wants to help.
We have such a vast range of knowledge in experience in this forum and I would love to see everyone learn from that and grow.

So now I will get to my point.

I just ask that everyone please be mindful of their posts.
We have people on this site ranging from 13 years old to probably 70 :haha: so I just ask that we keep away from profanity or using symbols to spell out the profanity.

I ask you to post as if your son/daughter, grandchild, or someone else who was young and impressionable was reading our threads.

Thank you for your time and I really want to thank you all for what you do.
It\'s been about a year now that I have been on this site and I have grown so much as a hunter and person because of all of you.

Please keep up the good work. :upthumb:

Good point Dan. I don\'t take personal offence at vulgar words, but I would rather not have to deal with them. I understand frustration, but I may not own your problem. Explain it to me and I can either help, or sympathize with you and your situation. Even then vulgarity is not helpful. Again thanks.

I was reading some older posts this morning and remembered that you are 72 (or close to) now Pete and still chasing bears with knifes!

I only hope I am so lucky! :train: :upthumb:

I was lucky I didn\'t get eaten.

Nobody knows how there going to die, but being eaten by a bear is pretty far down my list.
