Using different calls

If a guy is hunting the same area for a week is it wise to change up the calls we are using from day to day?  Mouth reeds and others

Personally I think so..... I think elk catch on to the same calls and become a little call shy. Not sure if there is any proof to this, just seems like it from personal experience. Either way I don't think it could hurt.

I think they get to know the call. If the elk hasn't busted you yet you might be ok using the same one but I like to switch it up. Especially if its during the rut and the bulls are being dumb and curious.

Our very first setup this year we had a bull come in while I was the caller. Somehow I managed to lose my brand new ( less than 2 weeks old from the elk 101 store) temptress call :'( now once the elk find it and start practicing with it  I can never use another up there (once I get a new one ordered) .... We did try to mix it up though since the bulls were in the same area 2 nights in a row and I didn't want them to get used to the same exact calls  while we tried to figure out the whole " hey the elk are talking this season what do we do now" thing

I run the same ones all season. I sometimes try to imitate the bugle of what ever bull Im calling to, tends to make them mad....
