UU Bar Ranch Elk

I have the opportunity to go on an archery elk hunt at UU Bar Ranch this coming fall. The hunt will take place on either the high country or low country area of UU Bar, not CS Martinez. Does anyone have experience with them or heard much about them? All I know is that alot of hunting "celebrities" hunt there, and the surrounding ranches in the Sangre de Cristo range are top of the line. Other ranches that I know of being Vermejo, Trinchera, Cielo Vista, Tercio, and Hill Ranches.


I have read horror stories about $12k nature hikes and issues with retaining guides...and I don't want to fall into that trap. Any insight will be appreciated.

I have heard that the upper ranch is a trophy hunt and the low country is more of a management hunt, would definitely be a fun hunt.
