VA archery hunter looking for DIY hunting partner

27 year old fit bowhunter looking for a few individuals to do some DIY archery hunts in the future with. I already have a CO trip planned for this September, but would love to start planning some 2017 trips with some like minded individuals who like to get after it on the mountain. Preferably Colorado, Idaho, or Montana. I'm limited with my resources for scouting due to living on the east coast, but have put in some serious time scouting digitally and on the phone with biologists. I'm just looking for some hardworking bowhunters to get hooked up with that I can plan on hunting with for years to come. I'm able to spend multiple weeks on the mountain at a time due to being blessed with a great work schedule. Anybody interested on hunting together?

I am looking for someone to do the same thing with. Where in Virginia do you live?  I've looking into a trip like this for awhile but finding it hard to get someone to commit to trip like this.

Nice to see some VA guys on here. I live in Bristol and we hunt CO every year. Normally otc archery bit this year i drew a tag for unit 5 archery. Cant wait to get back out there.

I'm in Richmond, but travel to most of the state for work. Jvanhoy would you consider doing a trip out to CO in 2017? Joe22657 what are you looking to do out west and where? Are you applying for any limited entry tags?

Chad. We go every year. Were going to put in for wy next year with CO as a back up. Next year we'll already have 5 of us which is about max for our camper unless anyone drops out. If you would ever want to get together on some deer or turkey hunts first to make sure our hunting styles and personalities mesh that would be good. I have some real good private land in bristol and Abingdon. We will deff have years where we could take on another person.

I'm in Strasburg. I would like to do an elk hunt.  For my first year I was thinking about otc tag for Idaho. Right now I don't have anything planned but have been buying gear that I need.
