I talked to a well informed guide that spends months in the Rocky Mountains. He tests out a wide variety of different products and he told me that he owns and loves the Vortex Diamondback 10 x 50 binoculars. He said they have a "Very clear picture and pretty darn good in low light situations."  I guess those would be on my wishlist!!!  Just thought I would share.

I just sold my Swarovski's on Ebay....that's how impressed I am with Vortex. They are extremely clear and lightweight, and have an unmatched warranty. In my opinion, for the price, there is nothing even close.
