Wall Tent Pole Bags

I\'ve got a couple of Davis Wall Tents, one that is 25+ years old and the other that is 10 years old. The tents are still going strong and are in great shape. However, the pole bags that Davis supplies leave a little to be desired. The material is great but I continue to have issues with the zippers breaking. Does anyone have any solution they have come up with for storing the tent poles? I know Russ had the idea of using a garbage can to store the tent in, which was a great idea, so I\'m wondering if anyone has figured out a solution for this part :D

I ordered my new Davis tent without a frame as I made my own.
I got some used top rail tubing from an old chain link fence and cut it into sections.
The tubing has integrated slip joints so it was perfect.

I then took some canvas and made a sack to hold the stakes and poles.

(I\'d post a pic but it says the photo is too large - haven\'t had that happen before)

Maybe call Roy at Davis tent and he will make you something

Yeah, they have tent bags that they sell. I figured I would just see if anyone had other ideas though. Probably best to just pay the $25 and get a new bag.

That\'s weird about the photo issue by the way. I\'ll shoot you a note.
