Hey gang, after a great deal of interest Trav and I have decided to start uploading some sound clips of our calls so everybody can get a bit better of an idea of what types of sounds each of them will do. Please keep in mind that both of us are not exactly audio/video savvy, so please excuse the quality if it isn\'t exactly radio quality haha. The first 2 videos that we will be posting are of the Sure Thing double reed, and the Bull Buster single reed. By tomorrow I hope to have 2 more videos up, one for the Pink Lady single reed, and another for WRO\'s newest addition, and the first call in the newly minted Signature Series Championship Line (I\'ll wait until I post the video to introduce the call and its name).

Anyways, as always, if anybody has any questions whatsoever, or if anybody has any requests on specific reeds or specific sounds that they would like to hear, don\'t hesitate to get in touch either Travis or myself.

Thanks Scott! Trav and I are planning to become much more involved in the community from here on out - we\'ve been holding back in the shadows a bit for the past while, but look forward to contributing more going forward!

I also want to introduce the newest call to our lineup, The Black Widow. Trav and I both feel that this is one of, if not the most, versatile dedicated cow reeds on the market. We\'ve spent a ton of time tinkering and fine tuning, and we both finally feel that the recipe is as good as its going to get. I hope all of you will give it a try during the upcoming season!

Thanks to Shane for doing up a few clips and showing what the Wapiti reeds sound like.

It\'s always nice to be able to hear what the reeds sound like so you can make better decisions when buying reeds. Now don\'t get me wrong these reeds are very easy to use and are very forgiving with the sounds being made but you still need to practice !!

To give better knowledge on myself and Shane. We both are just average elk hunters just like all of you guys and gals. It is our passion which fuels us to make the best calls possible !! We both have reeds in our trucks 24 hours a day and are using them non-stop !! Now this is where it gets very interesting with Shane and I. We have been friends for awhile now but we both have very different calling techniques !! So we feed off one another and this helps us greatly while developing reeds for you guys. It\'s not easy as we live 7 hours apart and we only see each other about 3-4 times a year.

We both compete at calling championships both in Canada and the USA !! We feel it makes us more rounded and the pressure of competition is second to none ! I always thought it was nerve racking have a bull come screaming in to 5 yards.......try being at the world elk calling championships in Las Vegas with all the TV personalities and huge crowds watching your every move on stage !! That is scary and believe me your are very nervous and shaking when taking the stage ! But after that pressure calling in a bull is easy.

For the Canadian Nationals I was using the Bull Buster and Pink Lady when I won the first place qualifier. After that I bowed out of the competition as I was starting to sell my reeds at tradeshows and the competition is amateur only. so I never got a chance to win the Canadian title. No big deal as it is all for fun anyways. Having said that. The finals is where I met Shane and he tried the Pink Lady for the first time !!

Shane went on to win that championship and then backed it up this year with his second consecutive win at the 2014 Canadian nationals !! Shane is the only back to back winner ever at Nationals !! Shane was using Wapiti calls and we both look back while talking and realize both our calling has improved leaps and bounds from before we met !!

Well enough mumble jumbo on that. Both Shane and I have been working on his Signature line of reeds and we will be unavailing the first reed very soon !! You guys are going love it as it is the reed that he used this year to win the title !!

It will be available to all of you in about a week so stay tuned !!

Good luck to all of you this season and thank you all so much for the support you\'ve all shown !!

The Lucky Triple Reed: <!-- m --><a class=\"postlink\" href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-D1JCkmMU4&feature=youtu.be\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href);return false;\">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-D1JCk ... e=youtu.be</a><!-- m -->

The Lucky is WRO\'s 3 reed offering. As with most triple reed designs, the Lucky takes a fair bit of air and tongue pressure to properly activate, but, in turn, it will produce pitches and volumes at levels that will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck from 3 ridges over. If you are a fan of the triple reed design, then you owe it to yourself to give the Lucky a try.
