WAY off topic - BAD house painting!!

hahah..

it\'s like watching a slow car crash..or a bad girl fight. i cant look away.

i recently had my home painted. i paid dearly. took two guys THREE weeks to paint my home. the level of washing and sanding was epic. i admit, it sucked to have house painters at my home for that duration..but my paint job came out pretty excellent. one wall bubbled and they came back, stripped it to bare wood, sanded it, and primed it with a new product, and coated it AGAIN!!

my neighbors got inspired and a few hired my painters. we rejoiced!!

my next door neighbor hired the complete opposite type of painter. single guy. it is the worst paint job i\'ve ever seen. he did not wash anything. no sanding..NO SCRAPING!! he is just covering everything with a white paint. not so sure it is a primer. he is painting everything..gutters, utiltiies..then everything not white primer is getting a peachy-brown coat.. fvck..i think he is relying on the new paint to glue down the paint chips.

he oversprayed the shingles!!

i am so glad i am moving away..the jagged pill of the move is smoothing out.

preface: i just had a pro paint my exterior. my paintjob is stellar and is a mere 8 months old. the scar from the kidney donation to pay for the paint job is just about healed up.

my nei...WAIT. can a moderator turn off the cussing filter for the next segment? no?

my neighbor\'s painter just sprayed puck brown paint overspray all over my house and windows..

i want to ..UGH!!! you have no clue how mad i am. and there is no way i am letting that painting idiot onto my property to fix it..i have ZERO recourse.

WOW!! That sucks. I would get plenty of pics. I would then contact the idiot painter and tell him what he did and that you don\'t want him to do the repairs. I would contact the painter you used before for repairs and have the idiot painter pay them. Have your painter give you a written quote for repairs. The idiot should have insurance against mishaps. If he doesn\'t report him to the city. If he wont\' pay take him to court. Some people :x
