For those that know me and those that don't, my weird spring and summer just got weirder over the weekend. I alone am keeping the local hospitals doors open. This time it was a normal Friday early evening that ended up with me in the local ER. Snake bite. Copperhead got me when I took the little dog out for a walk right at dusk. Bad thing he got me twice, good thing they we both dry bites as they call them. So didn't get full doses of venom either time. Lucky and blessed both. So I haven't been able to do anything since then and am still flat of my back with my left leg pointing skyward for several more days. Just thankful it wasn't worse.

Dang Phil, that's some bad luck! Glad you are okay. Get that leg healed up so you can get out to deer camp.

Glad to hear you're ok, Phil!!!!
I know that snake wishes he messed with someone else, because I know you introduced him to you 9MM right after the bite....

Finally set down at my computer so here's a few pictures of my leg and foot...

None for the Friday of the bite or that Saturday...

Dang Phil that doesn't look very comfortable! Health up fast, deer season is coming fast.

Ouch!
Had my own ankle/foot swollen lime that earlier this year from ankle sprain + bad rock impact on shin, created a hemotoma.

Get better Phil. Did they put you on Antibiotics? Don't want that turning into cellulitis.
No antibiotics Jason!!! I'm going to try and see my PCP tomorrow and ask for some sinceit still swollen, reddish in color and is still warm to the touch...
