What is the thing you\'re most excited.....

What is the thing you are most excited to experience first on this years elk hunt?

- The sight of first light creeping up on opening day?
- The first bugle ripping off on opening morning?
- The first moment you realize you\'re out in the middle of no where with no interruptions or modern technology?
Maybe it\'s not even the opening day:
- The first camp meal the day you show up?
- The first campfire drink?


What are you most excited about to experience FIRST this year.

For me where I hunt now it is the same thing every year. Grabbing the binos and heading up above camp and glassing and seeing the first elk of the year.

It might be different this year if I draw.

I think right now like a lot of people I am excited to know if I drew. Once I have drawn then my excitement turns to scouting and checking cams. Once season starts the most exciting thing for me is seeing that first animal even if I spot him through my binos a mile away. I know that it will be a good hunt because I am already seeing an animal most people dream about hunting.
