My first animal was when I was 16 years old.
I shot it in the North Maine woods with a 30-06 model 742 woodsman rifle.


It was a nice little 6 point buck.

Details are fuzzy but it was a WT button buck from a tree stand with a Winchester 30-30.

Whitetail button buck with a 20 gauge shotgun shootin\' #3 buck shot while huntin\' with my next door neighbor at his deer camp in south central Arkansas... No tree stand.. I was settin\' on the ground leaned up again a big ol\' oak tree watchin\' a ol\' loggin\' road... I was 10 years ol\'.... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

And yep I remember it just like it was yesterday just like I do my 1st duck killed... :upthumb: :upthumb:
