I am not a big spender and I don\'t like buying too many things, mostly what I need.
When I want something I take lots of time, budget for it, and by the time I have enough for it I don\'t want it anymore.

Anyways, while I was stationed over in England, I saved up and bought a 1971 Series 3 land rover 110\".
It was ex RAF and MINT. I absolutely love that thing and wish I would have brought it home with me.

I have a right hand drive series 3 at my house, but it\'s the shorter 88\" model and I miss my 110\"

That extra space made it a nice little truck bed.... that could fit deer

Man I miss that thing! Has anyone else ever sold something that they absolutely wish they didn\'t....

Cool pics Dan! I wish I hadn\'t sold my townhome a handful of years back...with where the rental market is right now, I could be retired if I still owned that and rented it out!

I regret selling my first house. Bought it in 1991. In the late 90\'s, I refinanced to a 15 yr mortgage. If I had stayed, it would be paid off by now and I could be closer to retiring.

I sold it to move to the mountains. I loved living in the CO mountains, however, I could be 100% debt free if I had just stayed in my first house.

Derek, I have tried the rental game. I still have an 1938 house in the mountains. The stress isn\'t worth it. My rental house is a money pit. However, my rental is in a lower rent area than Denver and other mountain locations.

Also, my 1984 Honda CRX. I had it for 11 years. It only needed a new radiator when I sold it. It got 50 mpg. Terrible for climbing into the mountains, however, fun to drive.

I have had my 1998 Honda Civic hatchback manual transmission for 17 years. It is by far the longest I have owned any one car. Next year, we may part company. It will be my last manual transmission. My left knee is getting tired of a clutch. Anyone want to buy it and give me visitation rights? I get offers every year from strangers who want to buy it. We have had a hell of run which included driving over mountain passes during white blizzard conditions and over rough 4x4 roads to get to trailheads. It never left me stranded. I am procrastinating about replacing it. 2016 may be the year.
