Got lucky yesterday afternoon and scored a \"Daily Double\"
After gale force winds for a couple of days and seeing no deer for three days, things calmed down pretty well and the deer started to move.
Shot the doe around 2:50 and after I field dressed her, still had an hour or so to hunt. Moved to a Double Bull ground blind located on another part of the property and after about a 15 min wait, bucky showed himself. Neither deer ran more than 30 yards, dropping in sight, giving me the best blood trail. The one you don\'t have to follow.
