Just a reminder if you are going to put in for a WY non-resident draw for elk, the deadline is January 31st!

Y\'all know right off when the early season startes in WY? I kick myself for not going ahead and getting a PP last year, I just recall finding it a little confusing trying to find a unit to put in for, as I recall all wilderness areas requires you to hire a guide. I should be off August 17 to September 8 so I\'m gonna get cut out of prime time this year no matter where I wind up going.

Also kicked the idea of pronghorn hunt as it\'s on my bucket list, best I recall WY has the highest population of those critters.

Bob those dates are perfect for a caribou hunt! Or as you mention hunting out of a blind for Speed goats.

Caribou is on my long list as well, I\'ve researched it the least tho, got moose ranked one notch above the boo on the bucket list. I got a CO plan in place if my elk LE draws come back a negative. I was just looking at my dates off this year and seemed to recall pronghorn dates generally started earlier in the year than elk. When I get back home and get internet speeds faster than morse code I\'ll do some planning, calculate the odds and stats to maybe try to work a speed goat in before my short elk season.

When I was looking at Wy regs I thought I read that you could buy a pp later in the year. Did I miss read the regs?

I\'m pretty sure that is correct, almost positive it\'s around September. But I\'ve got too many different states rules, dates and fees running in my head to be 100%. The thought about antelope to the mix is shorting my brain out.

You can buy points alone again later in the year ... July-September.

The season starts September 1 in almost all places here, and goes through the month of September.

Last day is today! Did a lot of research, hopefully my buddy and I can draw our tags. Good luck everyone!

Put in for Wyoming with my uncle and cousin this year.
They post the results late feb correct?
