Anyone thinking of applying in WY in the future might think about purchasing a preference point between now and (I think) September 30. You won\'t draw a tag here without points as a non-resident.

thanks for the heads up john, i really wanna take my son up there to hunt pronghorn sometime. i will check it out

Definitely get points for pronghorn ... numbers were down this year, and none of my friends coming out to hunt drew a tag ... none of them had purchased points ... \"We always draw\". Right.

(Pronghorn production this year looks very good, though, so tag allotments might go back up a bit in a year or two)

Any good estimate to the number of PP it should take to draw a better WY unit for Antelope, Elk and Deer for a NR?

Im thinking about adding WY to my list of places to hunt.

A general tag in Wyoming will require at least 1 point, but I had a guy coming out this year who didn\'t draw even with that. If you have an inkling to hunt WY, get a point.

A good pronghorn should be available in about any unit with 1 point, and many with zero points. Tag numbers went way down this year due to drought, but this summer has been very green, and numbers should get back to normal soon.

Deer? Well, there aren\'t many around me, or where I elk hunt. The popular units on the western end of the state will ask 5 or so points from a non-resident. If it\'s deer you\'re after, definitely buy points sooner rather than later.

I just got on to set up a new customer ID and I get an error message MULTIPLE RECORDS FOUND when confirming my SS -
Wha tha???

Somebody must\'ve stolen your identity ... check your bank account and make sure it\'s still there!

Don\'t worry, though ... you have until September 30 to get it sorted out.

It was probably John...doctors have access to all sorts of information!

\"So, uhhhh, Brad...any plans for next fall? I know some people at the WY Game & Fish, I could pull some strings and get you a tag if you want\" :D

Brad- I get the same thing sometimes. You already have an account in there system for some reason, could be a different name, try different combos of your name. I get it because I set up my account with Matthew and I try to access the system with Matt. A call to the office can also sort it out. Darn database key constraints!

\"Brad\"? I thought it was \"Bradley\".

\"Well, when I\'m in Wyoming, they call me ... Bradley.\"

Silly me.
All I had to do was use the Sportsman ID on my WY fishing license...
Ive had one the past 3 years.

Yup - its Bradford in Wyoming :)
