Who around the northern colorado area hunts the WY antelope seasons? I would like to try it out it seems like a lot of fun. :?:

I know John and I think Derek hunt them in WY.
I also believe that will is hunting them out there as well.

I am sure they will be able to chime in here soon and give you some good information.


Are you looking to bow hunt them or rifle?

I build long range rifles as a hobby so, rifle way out there.

I love me some WYO goats! I get at least one tag sometimes 3 for them every season. I\'m trying a new unit this year just for fun and a new adventure.

How far of a drive are you looking at every time you head out there?

Depends on what unit I hunt. I can be in WYO in a half hour. This year I\'m trying a new unit with more cover, about 2 hour drive

This is something I\'ve been wanting to do for a couple years. Does Wyoming have leftover or OTC antelope tags for a non resident? I wouldn\'t be after horns, more for some meat for the freezer after elk season dies down and I\'m wishing I had more tags. :mrgreen:

I only hunt them in CO, so I\'m no help. Being able to shoot at longer ranges will always help with speed goats though :upthumb:

depends on the unit. the area I looked at hunting last year had leftover tags. I almost went..... there weren\'t too many units with left over tags. get on their site and look to see what they have. im not sure when their draw is. but it was about this time last year that I had checked.
