Wyoming Archery Elk Hunt

I am new to the site and was hoping to get a little feedback on elk hunting in Wyoming. I have been hunting in Colorado for quite a while but I want to try Wyoming for a number of different reasons.  I'll probably be hunting the Medicine Bow Mountain range but I'm not sure if it will be the Snowies or the Sierra Madre yet. I will be going out there this September to do some scouting and maybe get a cow if I am lucky. I am not looking for anyone to give up there spots but if anyone one has feedback on this area I'd appreciate it. I'm curious not only about the elk but how many other hunters you ran into.

I have never hunted in Wyoming but i have been to the state and plan to hunt there some day  buying a point there this year. i personally think it is an under rated elk state i have seen a lot of elk and herd lots of local rumble about how great elk hunting in the state is. i am not sure about the area you are going but look forward to hearing about your scout and your hunt please share it with us
