Congrats Brad. You are doing pretty good on the draws this year. Two for two so far. :upthumb:

They upped the tag allotment this year and it looks like my odds were ~50%
Still happy tho

My buddy and his son from PA drew. Looks like I\'ll have these great guys in camp this year.

They are first-timers for elk hunting, and I\'m really excited to show them the hills ... Now to start scouting, and scouting, and scouting.

I go back and forth on different places to hunt ... it\'s great to have options.

We\'ll be going the first week of September, as that\'s the only time they can get away. They\'re both excellent hunters ... the son is young, but he has \"the gift\" ... catches big fish, kills big bucks, shoots upland game regularly -- one of those guys who is always in the right place. I can\'t wait to help him pack out his bull!

Deertick,

Sounds you are like a lot of us.

Just as happy helping others and enjoying it just as much

Well, last year was the first year that I hunted with others ... and it was fun.

I do miss my week-long wilderness lone wilderness trips ... and I\'ll do them again. In fact, lately, I think I\'m going to have to, just to maintain my sanity. There is something great about being alone for a week, with no human contact. I wouldn\'t want to live that way, but it\'s a great \"reset\".

But ... Rob and I have hunted together since childhood ... a special friendship, and his son is a great kid. I love showing off Wyoming and the mountains to people.
