Your favorite elk sound?

This may be a silly question, but what is your favorite elk noise to hear in the woods?

A location bugle?
Cow calls?
Elk racking?
Chuckles?





I think mine would be chuckles.
There is just something cool about being within 50 yards of an elk chuckling.

Favorite sound would have to be (Ka thunk) when they hit the ground.

But of the ones you mentioned, I\'d have to say location bugle. I just love bugles! :upthumb:

Definitely can\'t discount hearing a bull bugle though.

I\'m with Bill. Nothing like hearing them crash into a tree and go down. The little chirps are pretty cool though when they start talking.

I love hearing bugles but where I\'m hunting now I like cow\'s talking. As Andrew said it means they are close.

Rarely do I hear location bugles from real elk. Same with cow sounds. So I\'d choose chuckles.
