Your first bow

The "how old were you when you started shooting bows" thread got me thinking. Whatwas your first bow? Mine was an old Bear bow. That thing was old when I got it. It was 45lbs and it had an 80 in. ATA. LOL. It had the 3 little metal pins with the tips painted different colors. I had to buy a new finger tab every month cause they wore out so fast. Good times!

Mine was an old bear bow bout age 12.

I made my first any stick, twine or boot lace then my dad got me several recurves. My first compound was a pse stratos???? What a club.

I think mine was also similar, but not because it was the technology at the time.  Just because it was an old bow that my buddy's family passed down and the only one he was willing to let me borrow.  It was a fred bear whitetail hunter, thing had recoil like a handgun.  Wanted to jump out of your hand.  Same huge axle to axle.  had to wear an arm gaurd too cuz it would slap you good
