Your last hunt

We will never know what or when our last hunt will be.

If you could choose, what will your last hunt be?
 
Duck hunt in one of my favorite ol\' spots with my boys, grand boys and several of my dear ol\' friends in the flooded timber of Bayou Meto WMA... :D :D
 
That\'s a tuff one but I would probably say it would be a whitetail hunt because my first big game animal was a deer.
 
Probably back to where it all started. A hunt in the North Maine woods.....
I figure by then I might actually draw a moose hunt, so lets go with that :upthumb:
 
I would like a 10 day elk hunt with my son. If I could write the script, my son would get a 6X6 and I would get a spike or similar. It would be fine if I went home without any kill. I have had my share and then some.
 
Elk hunt with my father and my three boys. Gotta wait for a while, but someday it\'ll happen!
 
My final hunt will be in heaven. My old hunting partner is up there right now scouting it out. I miss him. But one day we will hunt together again.

I have \"several of my dear ol\' friends\" there waiting for me... I\'m sure they have those special spots already scouted out and in use... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
 
i wasnt blessed with children..

but i hope it is running and gunning (less emphasize on the \"running\" parts, since i will be 121 years old) with someone elses cool kids..like my god-kid\'s kids. rabbits or upland birds..
 
Either a deer or elk hunt with my son. We\'ll watch the sun set and then he will probably have to help me back to the truck!
 
Im not sure what my last hunt would be.

Sure, I can reflect on past hunts and hope to repeat, but there are many hunts [hopefully] that I want to do in my future and maybe one of them is something I would want to do again.

If my last hunt happens during a hunt, well then, I guess thats the one :)
 
It\'ll likely be elk, alone. I enjoy hunting with friends and family, but I could see a little \"alone time\" before moving on to the next place.

But Brad, if I get something, I may have to give you a call to help pack it out!

BTW, if any of you find me dead in the woods, go ahead and take the stuff you want, and let my wife know where my body is -- but don\'t tell anyone else.

Good thinking. You\'ll want to get the boots of quickly. They don\'t smell good on a good day, and they won\'t be getting any better on that day.
