thought on a base camp
i have often wondered why folks dont buy the fabric garages for a base camp. they were cheaper than my tent on the home depot website. not sure rather they would leak or not but seems to be a cheaper way of having a nice big base camp tent for less cost. i have a tent so wont be trying it, but...- bnsafe

favorite hunt
i know this is an elk site, but whats your favorite game to hunt. mine is ducks, i love it when they set there wings an come down. plus its several shots a day instead of one a year. -

new layout
just a couple thoughts on the new layout. first off an most important i love it. looks awesome. is there a way to add or where do we post stuff bout antelope etc. maybe instead of turkey its a critters forum. completely nit picking an no big deal. the one thing i did like about the other... -

sold my house today
my wife isnt working right now so we sold our house. have no idea where we are headin to, but will have to go somewhere in a mos. its an adventure for sure. prayers for guidance would be appreciated. -

leftover tags
just looked at 2014 draw recaps. there are some leftover tags for deer in the unit i put in for for my second choice so i must have done something wrong. an looks like about 290 2nd choice tags for muzzleloader elk were drawn out of roughly 310 an my son was one of the unlucky 20 or so that...- bnsafe

our troops started loading onto crafts for dday, then got delayed on ships tossing around in bad weather making alot of them sea sick. i cant imagine. God bless all our troops, then an now -

just checked, my son an i didnt draw deer, elk, moose, or antelope this year. im kinda shocked as my second choice stuff was all leftovers last year. hopefully we can figure out some leftover tags this year. if not will be looking at nebraska an wyoming for deer an pronghorn. let the research begin.- bnsafe

how do you guys stay warm. i am using a kodiak canvas tent. last year i used a mr buddy an worked awesome for about 2 hours then would shut off an not start til the next nite. im gonna try leaving a zipper down a little to let more o2 in but im higher than it says it will work so im not holding...- bnsafe

kinda quiet in here. im in mo for my daughters graduation. then back to co on tues. working on the house for a couple days then to estes for a couple days r an r with the wife. then back to grind for work. only 2.5 mos til pronghorn season. gotta start shootin my bow, an training for my survivor... -
