    Bull elk size

    I’m seeing a 7x7. None of the points jump out as overly long, he’s not got huge mass. That being said, I’m guessing he’ll gross around 330-340” and I wouldn’t think twice about taking him! Good luck with finding the sheds. Measure them up if you do find them and let up know.

    Blade angle vs penetration

    Was looking at my ViperTricks and Stingers last night. Looks to me, with the shallower blade angle, the Stinger would penetrate deeper. It should use less KE to get the whole head inside the hide. Am I over thinking this. Cabin fever? Any input?
