The CPW released their new online portal system recently.
I would suggest everyone online to go in and set up their account prior to the application deadline
You will need your CID, drivers license, email and set up a password.
Good luck
A couple of weeks ago I packed out my WT doe I shot in Nebraska with my Kuiu Icon Pro 1850
I found out that once I had the pack on and belt clipped, it was difficult to grab the tag ends and tighten up the belt
So I did this - https://youtu.be/YGQZG5OJlEg
Simple, but it works just like I...
I?m out in Nebraska doing some ML whitetail doe hunting.
Spent yesterday poking around some riverbottom but not too much action.
This morning I went to another place that I was told about.
Never been there before so I hiked in and checked it out.
I made a loop thru, saw some deer at a...
Everyone knows what ThrowBackThursday is yes?

One of my most favorites terrain spots to hunt are fingers ridges.
Typically, the elk are moving up from the bottom and coming up to bed.
I have made a few aerial diagrams of how I approach hunting finger ridges
Here is a classic location of an area I would look for.

Its been 5 years ago that I cut my hand at work. Actually, it was the day before Thanksgiving.
A contractor was removing a large piece of sheet metal from a wall and I happened to be standing too close when it popped.

Off to the hospital...

As the hunting seasons are winding down, what gear failures did you have?
I had a Big Agnes Insulated Core mattress fail - valve / leaks. In fact I had 2 of them fail.
I contacted BA and sent them in.
They warrantied them both and sent me 2 new upgraded pads
This fall while archery elk hunting I went into an area I hadnt been to in a long time. Many years ago I build a tree stand over a spring in the area and at the time I didnt own a GPS.
Well, I kinda forgot about it and I started looking for it
It has survived quite well, not safe by any...
Over the years, I have been putting in Pref Points for my daughter. With her busy college schedule, I told her I would take her on a hunt when she got her Bachelors' degree.
She was on schedule to finish this summer, I put her in for a unit Eastern Colorado that took 5 PPs and she drew a tag.We...
Who uses a stabilizer?
Ive noticed recently that many bowhunters dont use one.
I have used one, and I have also taken it off, with little noticeable difference, but I dont take many long [50yds+] shots either
As newer bows have progressed in design, hand shock and poor balance has about...
We have 5 trail cameras that've been 'simmering' for a month now and this weekend Im headed up to switch SD cards and move one.
One is a 2 mile hike in, 2 are an ATV ride and a mile hike, and the other 2 are 1/2 mile from a road.
Those three spots are not closer than 3-4 miles apart
