Just got the call.....Swede killed a cow this evening around 6pm. I got the call from Swede\'s wifee...
I haven\'t talked to him myself. I will post details when I get them....but I\'m guessing they go something like this: \"A cow came by my stand, and I shot her...she died. The End.\"...
Of torture! Swede keeps calling me every 15 mins to tell me about all the big bucks and bulls he is tying up to the trees for Stringunner, his dad, brother and myself. He has been quite busy. To busy to remember to bring a toothbrush and floss. Guess he is gunna have fuzzy teeth until I get...
I found a new spot to hunt! It has decent potential as I saw a few of them. There are a few problems with it though.....it is right off a main road! LOL I might have to dodge a few cars going 60mph just to get across to shoot! That and there is a HUGE pond behind them. If they go that way...
Anybody combine their spotting scope and digital camera? I have been researching doing this and am interested if anyone has a particular set up they like. I see Vortex has some devices that do that. Anyone doing this? Sounds like fun.
lol....ok....assuming he isn\'t to small a bull for some of you guys that only kill whoppers. He is 3 yards, no clue you are anywhere near him and you are at full draw. Shoot? :help2:
This may have been asked before, and perhaps even proven but I\'ve always wondered what about humans is the big give away scent wise.
What is the most offensive thing the elk smell to tip them off? I have always thought hair held a ton of scent and therefore go almost butch with my hair cut...
This is Ike....a shy guy. Only showed his face when it was dark and never during the season. This pic was from a few years back.
I miss him. I don\'t understand why he didn\'t feel like a permanent residence in my house wouldn\'t be preferable to the long cold winters!
Sheesh....some elk...
Not sure I have got this posting a picture part down. lol Anyway.....one less thing to put into my pack. I figured out how to make my
phone into a card reader for my trail cams. I don\'t normally have cell service where I hunt but I usually have my phone with me.
Now I can read my SD...
