Just wanted to wish everyone luck this season. I look forward to reading tons of stories and seeing lots of pics. Even if you don't get one, post a story and some pics of your trip! Happy hunting stay safe and give a fellow hunter a hand. Last year we got a flat and had to walk ten miles back to town. Countless number of cars passed many being hunters and a 25 year old girl ended up being the one who picked me up. Lol pry the last time she will do that I was covered in elk piss haha

Wow, poor girl but that was kind of her to stop for you! Wish you luck my fellow Colorado backcountry hunter along with everyone else.
This year I am taking a first timer out with me, in the backcountry who is dying to learn and pass down to his children. We live in Colorado as well. I am excited to share this with him and am grateful that he serves all of us as an active Marine (just passed his 11th year of service). I figured since he is a new neighbor, friend and shares the same views as myself on hunting and passing it down to our children, I am doing him and the following generation a good and providing a thank you for what he helps provide all of us.

I would like to say good luck as well. I have already helped mulitple people out this year during my scouting trips. Nothing worse then breaking down in the middle of no where and no one stops to help. Have had that happen many times. I figure if i help someone out they will pay it forward. Anyways Good Luck and cant wait to see the pictures and stories.
