This bull was taken in Oregon at twenty yards with a old Oregon bow.  No sites ... bare bow

Right on man! Like these other guys have said. An elk is an elk. I'm a meat hunter most of the time, so when you shoot a spike your steaks are more tender!

It's meat in the freezer and food on the table. Time will bring a bigger one but who knows he might be less tasty.
