With Utah archery elk season opening tomorrow, we figured we'd get this up and running. If you shoot an elk, post the pictures here for everyone to see! We may even randomly go through and select some winners to receive some free gear from time to time...
Alright, I'll start this one out. Colorado opening day bull. I'd share details but I have a lot to do, getting my gear ready to head back out to try and fill my LE Utah hunt.
My first bull! 40 yard shot, double lung, dropped less than 30 yards away. Picked up the bow for the first time in June. I'm kinda bummed that I'm going to miss the rut...But sooo happy! I did it!
Thanks guys! VERY hard work, both the hunt and the pack out. Not sure I'll do that again without a hunting partner. If it wasnt for my step father bringing a cart to my rescue, id probably still be up there packing meat out!
All in all though, very rewarding. I will be back at it again in a couple weeks to get a big buck.. think i can pull it off again? We'll see ...
