Thanks!  My first time calling bulls.  I learned a lot.  Had some awesome experiences.
Calling bulls with a rifle? Now that sounds like a fun time!

I believe Nebraska will have new state record bull once the drying period is over....
I think typical is just under 410" and non typical is over 450".  This guy is nice but not that nice.

Yes I got him with a rifle.  I was actually watching a true giant that was about a half mile off on land I couldn't hunt.  I resolved he was never going to cross over with 5 minutes left in the season lol. I could hear this one in the corn moving around.  I had 2 minutes left so I bugeled a location call and he charged out of the corn and I had a little under a minute left in the season.  Luckily he dropped dead right on the spot!

That?s awesome! The epitome of the last minute of the last day of the season  :upthumb:

That?s a pretty rare tag to draw, isn?t it?

It's a once in a lifetime tag unless you own enough land in a specific areas of the units then you can get a landowners tag.  I think then you are eligible 5 years after drawing but that could be 5 or never lol.

I?m glad to hear you did it with your father, I?m trying to plan a trip with mine this year but he is not in the best physical condition and talking with a lot of outfitters they flat out say not gonna happen.

Anyways, thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!
