.270 and .30-06 Loads

I'm thinking of putting together a .270 and/or .30-06 for my kiddos for elk hunting. Any of you have a favorite elk hunting load for either of these?

Haven’t worked up a load the 270 I built.
My Kimber 84L in 30-06 tends to like the Barnes 168 TSX.
