Nice reminder!

According to this site - <!-- m --><a class=\"postlink\" href=\"https://www.timeanddate.com/date/workdays.html\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href);return false;\">https://www.timeanddate.com/date/workdays.html</a><!-- m --> - which you can exclude weekends and holidays,
I have 405 days
And take 60 +/- days minus that for accrued vacation time.... 345 days

Yep - January 31, 2019

So are you two retiring completely, or just from your current job?

I\'m working on doing something in next couple years and pulling my pension. Wold do something during the summer to keep busy.

Biggest thing for me is the cost for insurance is crazy

My retirement date is 2 days before I turn 55.
My pension will subsidize my health insurance cost so it wont be that big of a hit.
Even with that, its projected I will only be taking home about $400 less each month than I am now.

Lots of energy and knowledge to continue working but I wont be working for THE man, I will be working for THIS man.
The plan is to start my own consulting / management business and I have companies already interested in my services

So, Im thinking like a Tues - Thurs workweek

Just so we are clear, that\'s 12 more years. Excluding vacation days. On paper I\'m going nowhere. I\'m paying the penalty for being a knucklehead too long into adulthood. Damn me!

I love my job, but it\'s wearing on me for the first time ever.

im not for behind you cliff! 3471 for me. im going at 50ish. im tired boss...... fyi, I plan on expanding my bees, I have a deal going to buy a bunch more hive boxes :upthumb:
